My Name is Brie
I am committed to creating a fully sustainable jewelry company that places environmental responsibility at its core. To achieve this, I take a proactive approach in sourcing my materials. I prioritize purchasing stones directly from reputable and ethical sources, ensuring transparency in the supply chain.
In line with my sustainability mission, I also procure recycled silver, contributing to the reduction of waste and the demand for newly mined resources. Moreover, within my own operations, I have established a recycling system for silver, allowing me to reprocess and repurpose old jewelry and silver items, minimizing the need for additional raw materials.
At the heart of my jewelry company lies a philosophy, encapsulated in the logo design inspired by the famous quote, "cogito ergo sum" or "I think, therefore I am," attributed to the renowned philosopher René Descartes. In my adaptation, "cortigo ergo sum," I imbue this timeless concept with a unique twist that resonates with the essence of my brand.
The logo centers around a striking depiction of a human hand, symbolizing us as individuals and the fundamental nature of human existence. The hand is a universal symbol of human connection, creativity, and expression, reflecting the core values that underpin my sustainable jewelry company.
Each layer in the hand represents a profound aspect of our being. these layers symbolize the multifaceted nature of human experience and consciousness. The innermost layers represent the most intrinsic and intimate aspects of ourselves, while the outer layers showcase our growth, experiences, and interactions with the world.
